About the event
The Montgomery County Historical Society will meet on August 28th at the Church of the Ascension in Mount Sterling. The potluck dinner starts at 6 PM, meeting at 7:00 PM. This month’s speaker will be Crystal Marshall with the “National Underground Railroad Museum” in Maysville. She will be speaking on the museum and the escape routes fugitive slaves used to escape to freedom.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
